Hullo! Hope everyone is having a lovely little holiday in the country today. Jose Rizal would have probably liked not having to do anything on his birthday. (Wasn't it really yesterday though?) :-)
Although it is not MY birthday, look what arrived!! A lovely package from The Little Pinky Store! I had been dreaming of their Two-Toned Totes since I saw it on their site. And dreams do come true. The whole experience of opening this package was so lovely that I just had to post all these photos haha. You must check out the on-line store! And even better, add them up on Facebook so you can get the first updates on new arrivals.
Yey!! The logo is made by SummerdayStudio/Team'Nao!! The lovely Ayla of The Little Pinky Store was very defined with the look of her logo, and was a joy to work with since she provided the references and exact details of what she liked. The perfect client/designer collaboration.
Two-toned Tote with hand-made feather detail. I love big totes! Everything can fit and more! Pretty much all the bags I own are this shape, and are either hand-made or reusable eco-bags from stores.
And there you go. A new bag and a sprained foot as a result from a crazy out-of-town weekend that involved copious amounts of Margarita and utter embarassment the morning after. Ahh a lesson learned painfully and shamefully once again. Life.
Let us end this post with a quote from a wonderful toast our birthday celebrant, Jose Rizal gave in June 25, 1884 to painters Juan Luna and Felix Hidalgo in Spain on the occassion of celebrating the triumph of Luna's Spoliarium:
Genius has no country. It blossoms everywhere. Genius is like the light, the air. It is the heritage of all.
Peace. Love. Dream. Appreciate.
